Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad) is a spa town in the west Bohemia region of the Czech Republic. Its numerous thermal springs have made it a popular resort since the 19th century. The riverside spa district is home to several colonnades with columned walkways. The modern Hot Spring Colonnade houses the Pramen Vřídlo geyser, which spouts up to 12 meters high.

Pilsen is a city in the western Czech Republic. It’s known for the Pilsner Urquell Brewery, specializing in bottom-fermented beer since 1842, with brewing cellars and a bottling plant. Ringed by parks, the old center has the 19th-century Great Synagogue, which also hosts concerts. The Cathedral of St. Bartholomew, completed in the 16th century, has Renaissance paintings and a tall spire with a viewing gallery.

Český Krumlov is a city in the South Bohemia region of the Czech Republic. It’s bisected by the Vltava River and dominated by its 13th-century castle. Brno is a city in the Czech Republic. It’s known for its modernist buildings, like the restored Villa Tugendhat, completed in 1930 by architect Mies van der Rohe. The medieval Špilberk Castle houses a city museum, gardens and a former prison with vaulted tunnels. The Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul has baroque altars, a 14th-century statue of the Madonna and Child, and city views from its steeple.

The Capuchin Crypt in Brno is a funeral room mainly for Capuchin friars. The crypt was founded in the mid 17th century in the basement of the Capuchin Monastery in the historical center of Brno.
Parnassus Fountain-centre of Zelný trh (Cabbage Market), the heart of the Old Town, is the curious baroque Parnassus Fountain (1695), a symbolic cave encrusted with allegorical figures. The images here depict Hercules restraining the three-headed Cerberus, watchdog of the underworld. The three female figures represent the ancient empires of Babylon (crown), Persia (cornucopia) and Greece (quiver of arrows). The triumphant woman on top symbolises Europe.

Head here and wind through the medieval streets, making sure to look up and take in the original buildings that survived WWII. Local food is a highlight here, though it’s the beer that most people come for. Climb the hill to visit Prague Castle, gaze up at the Astronomical Clock and get ready for an eccentric nightlife that is unparalleled.
Situated on the Vltava River, this town is a smaller, more picturesque version of Prague. The medieval architecture and red-roofed buildings make for beautiful pictures and a casual stroll through the streets is a great way to slow down during a whirlwind trip. Olomouc is a small university town noted for its parks, churches, sculptures and fountains. The Holy Trinity Column and grand astronomical clock are UNESCO sites.
Karlovy Vary is a relaxing spa which offers hot mineral springs, fine baroque and Gothic architecture, forest walks and a lively cultural scene. There is also a castle at nearby Loket, overlooking the River Ohre.
Pack your trekking gear and head to Šumava, the country’s largest national park. It is a region full of densely forested hills along the border with Austria. Feast your eyes on the scenic lakes, trout streams, areas of virgin forest, and important historic monuments.

The bunker was designed to house civilians during a nuclear attack, after which they would then flee into the countryside. See the Spanish Synagogue – The outside of this building may not be anything special, but the inside is incredibly ornate.
