Welcome to Hungary
On arrival at Budapest International Airport you will be met by our local representative and you will be transferred to the hotel.
Day is free, for you to explore the city at your own pace.
Budapest, Hungary’s capital, is bisected by the River Danube. Its 19th-century Chain Bridge connects the hilly Buda district with flat Pest. A funicular runs up Castle Hill to Buda’s Old Town, where the Budapest History Museum traces city life from Roman times onward. Trinity Square is home to 13th-century Matthias Church and the turrets of the Fishermen’s Bastion, which offer sweeping views.

After your breakfast, Visit the second largest Baroque Palace of the world at Godollo during this tour of Magic Hungary. A mere 30-minute drive from Budapest transports you to a palace that reveals vestiges of the imperial and royal past of Hungary. Godollo Palace was the favourite summer residence of tragic Empress Sissi, whose troubles captured the heart of Europe. The former summer residence of Queen Elisabeth (Sissi) and Francis Joseph (Habsburg Emperor & Hungarian king 1867-1916), Godollo is one of the largest and most important monuments preserved and renovated to reveal the beautiful Hungarian Palace architecture. With a grand double drive leading up to the double u shaped building, the Palace and grounds provide a wonderful setting in which to explore the interesting history of Hungary. You can enjoy a tour of the interior with its painted foyer, Grand Hall and 23 room exhibit which captures the atmosphere of the Palace’s regal history. Then tour through the extensive gardens of the Chateau, giving you a glimpse of times under the Austro-Hungarian Empire. With the help of an expert guide you will become acquainted with the secrets of the private life, the hidden doors, bedrooms and lovers of the royal couple. Next, drive to a traditional Farm where you can sample Hungarian Pogácsa, a local type of savoury scone, and the national welcome drink, Pálinka. Horsemen will take you for a Carriage Ride through the area and to a traditional Horse Show. Return to the city centre to come back to the present after your time of exploration into the aristocratic Hungarian past.

After your breakfast, Day is free to explore more of the city of Budapest and its surroundings. We have variety of OPTIONAL TOURS that you can choose from.
Puszta horsemen show with Kecskemét visit
At an hour's drive from Budapest, we stop in the baroque city of Kecskemét. We walk around the beautiful downtown and visit the most important squares and buildings, like the Main Square with the famous City Hall, the Theatre and the churches (guided walk). From Kecskemét, we drive to a traditional Hungarian farm. After receiving the greetings of the horse(-herds)men, you can taste the famous Hungarian welcome drink, Barack Pálinka (Apricot Schnapps) and the Pogácsa (salty scone). Horsemen will then take you around and through the Puszta by horse-carriage. The program continues with a traditional horse show, which includes several breathtaking field performances. You are then invited for a three-course lunch including the famous Hungarian goulash soup, accompanied by Hungarian gipsy music.

No visit to Budapest is complete without a bath in one of its world-famous thermal spring spas. The ancient Romans had already discovered the healing effects of the thermal springs on the area we call Budapest today. The bath culture however only started to develop during the Turkish times.
