After your breakfast, Visit the second largest Baroque Palace of the world at Godollo during this tour of Magic Hungary. A mere 30-minute drive from Budapest transports you to a palace that reveals vestiges of the imperial and royal past of Hungary. Godollo Palace was the favourite summer residence of tragic Empress Sissi, whose troubles captured the heart of Europe. The former summer residence of Queen Elisabeth (Sissi) and Francis Joseph (Habsburg Emperor & Hungarian king 1867-1916), Godollo is one of the largest and most important monuments preserved and renovated to reveal the beautiful Hungarian Palace architecture. With a grand double drive leading up to the double u shaped building, the Palace and grounds provide a wonderful setting in which to explore the interesting history of Hungary. You can enjoy a tour of the interior with its painted foyer, Grand Hall and 23 room exhibit which captures the atmosphere of the Palace’s regal history. Then tour through the extensive gardens of the Chateau, giving you a glimpse of times under the Austro-Hungarian Empire. With the help of an expert guide you will become acquainted with the secrets of the private life, the hidden doors, bedrooms and lovers of the royal couple. Next, drive to a traditional Farm where you can sample Hungarian Pogácsa, a local type of savoury scone, and the national welcome drink, Pálinka. Horsemen will take you for a Carriage Ride through the area and to a traditional Horse Show. Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and make your way to the train station. Board the 2nd class train from Budapest main to Debrecen. On arrival in Debrecen station make your way to the hotel and check in.

Debrecen is the capital of Hungary’s Northern Great Plain region. Its 2-towered, 19th-century Reformed Church sits on the expansive main square, Kossuth Tér. Nearby, the Museum of the Reformed College of Debrecen has exhibits on the history of the city and the college. The Déri Museum’s eclectic collection includes archaeological finds, centuries-old weapons, fine art, local craft displays and a chamber of wonders.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today experience a boat tour to a beautiful lake Tisza, where you can see a unique national park with rich flora and fauna. The tour start at Albatrosz port where you will pass by the Tiszafured Free Beach. Lake Tisza, also known as Kisköre Reservoir, is the largest artificial lake in Hungary. It is located at the southeastern edge of Heves county, next to counties Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Hajdú-Bihar and Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok. As part of the ongoing Tisza River flood control project, the Tisza Dam was built in 1973.
Overnight in Debrecen.
After breakfast, prepare for check-out and make your way to the train station. Board the 2nd class train from Debrecen to Budapest.
On arrival in Budapest station driver will pick you up and drop you to the airport for your onward flight.
