Gozo is an island in the Mediterranean Sea, one of 21 that make up the Maltese archipelago. Inhabited for thousands of years, it shows evidence of historic immigration and rule by the Phoenicians, Romans, Arabs, Sicilians, French and British, among others. It’s known for its Neolithic Ġgantija Temple ruins, rural hiking paths, beaches and scuba-diving sites.

Today explore Malta’s sister island of Gozo is an excursion into a Mediterranean paradise. With hills, greenery and a tranquil vibe, here you can spend the day sightseeing and soaking up the sun. The highlights of the tour include: See the citadel in Victoria, Enjoy some free time on the island, Ggantija Temples. After a short twenty minute ferry ride from Malta, we arrive at the smaller, yet just as worthy island of Gozo. After setting off on foot, you´ll soon realise the similarities between the two islands in terms of history and development, though Gozo has a character completely of its own. With three hills, much more greenery and untouched picturesque landscapes, it’s an island well worth discovering.
During the excursion we visit the temples of Ggantija, the citadel in Victoria and the bay of Xlendi. What’s more, you have some free time for shopping as Gozo is well-known for its woolen goods and handmade lace.

Explore the south and discover some of the most magical places in Malta on a full day guided tour. The highlights of the tour include: Visit the historic Hagar Qim temple complex, Enjoy a boat trip through the Blue Grotto, Stroll through the picturesque fishing village of Marsaxlokk. Explore one of the few unspoiled towns in Malta in the south of the island. Accompanied by a guide, you will head to a Maltese "pjazza" through narrow streets where progress has not yet left its mark. Later, you will head 2 km south-west from the village of Qrendi to visit the most complex and elaborated temples of Hagar Qim, Malta's foremost prehistoric site, excavated for the first time in 1839. These temples stand on a hilltop offering breathtaking view of the sea and the islet of Filfla. After leaving Hagar Qim you will move to to Wied iz-Zurrieq where you will have the chance to take a boat trip that will take you to admire the Blue Grotto renowned for its azure sea. After lunch, pass through several agricultural areas and vineyards until you reach the idyllic fishing village of Marsaxlokk. Admire the waterfront lined with luzzus painted in traditional colours that add colour to this serene bay, during the heroic past of Malta, the place where the Turkish and French troops were landing. Enjoy some free time to take a stroll through the daily market! Finish your day with a tour of the prehistoric cave of Ghar Dalam, home of the first Maltese inhabitants.

Valletta (or Il-Belt) is the tiny capital of the Mediterranean island nation of Malta. The walled city was established in the 1500s on a peninsula by the Knights of St. John, a Roman Catholic order. It’s known for museums, palaces and grand churches. Baroque landmarks include St. John’s Co-Cathedral, whose opulent interior is home to the Caravaggio masterpiece "The Beheading of Saint John."

Comino formerly called Ephaestia is a small island of the Maltese archipelago between the islands of Malta and Gozo in the Mediterranean Sea, measuring 3.5 square kilometres in area.

Victoria (also known as Rabat) is the capital of Gozo Island, in Malta. It’s known for its medieval Citadel, with fortified walls. Within the Citadel, the Gran Castello Historic House is a folklore museum. Gozo Museum of Archaeology has prehistoric stone sculptures. Gozo Cathedral, with a richly painted ceiling, dates to the baroque era. Walls at the 16th-century Old Prison are covered in etchings by former inmates.
Senglea also known by its title Città Invicta, is a fortified city in the South Eastern Region of Malta. It is one of the Three Cities in the Grand Harbour area, the other two being Cospicua and Vittoriosa, and has a population of approximately 2,720 people
Sliema is a resort town on the east coast of the Mediterranean island of Malta. The waterfront features a long promenade and the 18th-century polygonal Fort Tigné in the south. To the north, St. Julian’s Tower is a 17th-century watchtower and battery. The baroque-inspired Stella Maris Church dates from the 1850s. On tiny Manoel Island is the star-shaped Fort Manoel, built by the Knights of St. John.
Cospicua also known by its titles Città Cospicua or Civitas Cottonera, is a double-fortified harbour city in the South Eastern Region of Malta. Along with Birgu and Senglea, it is one of the Three Cities, located within the Grand Harbour to the east of the capital city Valletta.
Marsaxlokk is a small, traditional fishing village in the South Eastern Region of Malta. It has a harbour, and is a tourist attraction known for its views, fishermen and history. As at March 2014, the village had a population of 3,534
