Namaste-Welcome to India

On arrival at Srinagar International Airport you will be met by our local representative and you will be transferred to your houseboat at Dal Lake. 

Day is free, for you to explore the magnificent beauty of the lake at your own pace.

Srinagar-is famous for its lakes and the charming houseboats, Srinagar is also known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts. The lake comprises a series of water bodies, including the Nagin Lake. One can take in the panoramic view of the mountains surrounding Srinagar from this lake. Kashmiri boats called Shikara, are used to explore the intricate maze of waterways on this lake.

In the evening, enjoy a Shikara-ride on Dal Lake.  Dal is a lake in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is an urban lake, which is the second largest in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It is integral to tourism and recreation in Kashmir and is named the "Lake of Flowers", "Jewel in the crown of Kashmir" or "Srinagar's Jewel".

Prepare for check out and the driver will pick you up and take to the most beautiful valley of Pahalgam, also called the Valley of Shepherds.

On arrival in Pahalgam the driver will drop you to the hotel and check in.              

The day is free, for you to explore the natural beauty of Pahalgam at your own pace.

Pahalgam, admire the beauty of nature as you walk along the banks of River Lidder. Pahalgam is also famous for some trekking routes and is the base camp for the Amarnath Pilgrimage.  Pahalgam is a hill station in the north Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Mountain trails run northeast to Amarnath Cave Temple, a Hindu shrine and site of the annual Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage. Overa Aru Wildlife Sanctuary is home to animals including brown bears and musk deer. Northeast, the Lidder River runs through scenic Betaab Valley. Southeast, Tulian Lake is flanked by mountain peaks and often frozen.

Today morning enjoy the panoramic views of Pahalgam town and Lidder Valley and the Lidder River that flows down the valley. Start the journey with Aru Valley which is a small village, 15 km upstream the Lidder River. The route is very picturesque with ample of campsites. This village is the starting point for treks to the Kolahoi glacier. Kolahoi Peak is part of the Himalaya Range. Later visit the Chandanwari, which is the starting point of sacred Amarnath Yatra. Chandanwari is famous for snow sledging on a snow bridge, enroute you can visit Hajan, an idyllic picnic spot and the Betaab valley, which is situated at a distance of 15 km from Pahalgam in Anantnag district in India's northernmost union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The valley got its name from the Sunny Deol-Amrita Singh hit debut film Betaab.

Gulmarg “Meadow of Flowers” situated at an altitude of 2730 meters, with lush green meadows of flowers with a backdrop of the snow-capped mountains. Gulmarg is a town, a hill station, a popular skiing destination and a notified area committee in the Baramula district of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. The town is situated in the Pir Panjal Range in the western Himalayas and lies within the boundaries of Gulmarg Wildlife Sanctuary.

On arrival in Srinagar the driver will drop you to the hotel and check in.

Later in the afternoon enjoy a visit to Mughal Gardens - Nishat (The Garden of Pleasure). Mughal gardens are a type of gardens built by the Mughals. This style was influenced by the Persian gardens particularly the Charbagh structure, which is intended to create a representation of an earthly utopia in which humans co-exist in perfect harmony with all elements of nature. Then visit the Shalimar (Abode of All). Shalimar Bagh is a Mughal garden in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India, linked through a channel to the northeast of Dal Lake. It is also known as Shalimar Gardens, Farah Baksh, and Faiz Baksh. The other famous shore line garden in the vicinity is Nishat Bagh, 'The Garden of Delight'. Drive along the Lakeside on Boulevard. On your way back, visit a local Handicrafts Emporium for hand-knotted silk carpets and shawls as well as ornaments.

Tiruchirappalli (also called Tiruchi or Trichy) is an ancient city in India's southern Tamil Nadu state. Kodaikanal is a hill town in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It’s set in an area of granite cliffs, forested valleys, lakes, waterfalls and grassy hills. At 2,000 meters above sea level, the town centers around man-made, star-shaped Kodaikanal Lake, bordered by evergreen forest. Rowing boats can be hired, and hikers and cyclists follow the 5k Lake Road path around the shore.
 

Mangalore (or Mangaluru) is an Arabian Sea port and a major commercial center in the Indian state of Karnataka. It's home to the Kadri Manjunath Temple, known for its bronze statues, and the 9th-century Mangaladevi Temple. Its Catholic sites include Milagres Church, dating to the 17th century, and St. Aloysious Chapel, which features interior paintings. Tannirbhavi Beach is popular for its sunset views.
 

Hyderabad is the capital of southern India's Telangana state. A major center for the technology industry, it's home to many upscale restaurants and shops. Its historic sites include Golconda Fort, a former diamond-trading center that was once the Qutb Shahi dynastic capital. Thiruvananthapuram (or Trivandrum) is the capital of the southern Indian state of Kerala. It's distinguished by its British colonial architecture and many art galleries. It’s also home to Kuthira Malika (or Puthen Malika) Palace, adorned with carved horses and displaying collections related to the Travancore royal family, whose regional capital was here from the 18th–20th centuries. Kochi (also known as Cochin) is a city in southwest India's coastal Kerala state. It has been a port since 1341, when a flood carved out its harbor and opened it to Arab, Chinese and European merchants. Sites reflecting those influences include Fort Kochi, a settlement with tiled colonial bungalows and diverse houses of worship. Cantilevered Chinese fishing nets, typical of Kochi, have been in use for centuries. Indian port with colonial Fort Kochi, plus 16th-century Portuguese churches & Paradesi Synagogue.
