It has been the capital of Russia since the 15th century, except from 1712 to 1918, when the capital was transferred to St. Petersburg. The city was founded in the 12th century and the Kremlin, its main fortress, was erected in 1156. Moscow rapidly gained importance and the Duchy of Moscow became the main political centre among the principalities of central Russia before Ivan III, Grand Prince of Moscow, united most of these states under his control.

Continue the panoramic tour of The Cathedral of Vasily the Blessed, commonly known as Saint Basil's Cathedral, is a Christian church in Red Square in Moscow, Russia and is regarded as a cultural symbol of the country. We will provide you a nice opportunity for shopping in GUM department. GUM is the main department store in many cities of the former Soviet Union, known as State Department Store during the Soviet era. Similarly-named stores operated in some Soviet republics and in post-Soviet states. Then visit the Metro Underground Palace tour & Arbat Street.

Today explore the Russian art. Our tour starts in Tretyakov gallery, an art gallery in Moscow, the foremost depository of Russian fine art in the world. Then later it brings you to the most beautiful Moscow Metro station and ends on famous Arbat street, so that you would be able to enjoy the masterpieces of all kind of art. After lunch, you will visit Izmailovo Kremlin and local flea market to shop some true Russian souvenirs before going to St. Petersburg.

Later in the afternoon, the driver will pick you up and drop you to the train station for your onward journey to St. Petersburg.

St. Petersburg is a Russian port city on the Baltic Sea. It was the imperial capital for 2 centuries, having been founded in 1703 by Peter the Great, subject of the city's iconic “Bronze Horseman” statue. It remains Russia's cultural center, with venues such as the Mariinsky Theatre hosting opera and ballet, and the State Russian Museum showcasing Russian art, from Orthodox icon paintings to Kandinsky works.

In the evening, we invite you to watch the famous drawbridge. A familiar view of Saint Petersburg is a drawbridge across the Neva. Every night during the navigation period from April to November, 22 bridges across Neva and main canals are drawn to let ships pass in and out of the Baltic Sea into the Volga-Baltic waterway system.

It is dedicated to Saint Isaac of Dalmatia, a patron saint of Peter the Great, who had been born on the feast day of that saint. Enjoy the incredible Peterhof - a former residence of the Russian monarchs that brings together the finest achievements in national and international culture while on your way to the airport. Outstanding architects, decorators and sculptors, whose spectacular works of art slot perfectly into the natural beauty of the coastal landscape, created this unique complex.
