Tbilisi is the capital of the country of Georgia. Its cobblestoned old town reflects a long, complicated history, with periods under Persian and Russian rule. Its diverse architecture encompasses Eastern Orthodox churches, ornate art nouveau buildings and Soviet Modernist structures. Looming over it all are Narikala, a reconstructed 4th-century fortress, and Kartlis Deda, an iconic statue of the “Mother of Georgia.”

Explore the Tbilisi with your driver cum guide. The highlights of the tours are visiting the Metekhi Virgin Mary Assumption Church or Metekhi Church is a Georgian Orthodox church located on the left bank of the Mtkvari river, on Metekhi Cliff, in Avlabari neighbourhood, opposite the old town of Tbilisi. Then experience the cable car ride to Narikala Fortress, an ancient fortress overlooking Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, and the Mtkvari River. The fortress consists of two walled sections on a steep hill between the sulfur baths and the botanical gardens of Tbilisi. On the lower court there is the recently restored St Nicholas church. Visit the famous Chardin street which is situated in the upper Kala district and Vakhtang Gorgasali and Sioni streets. This is one of the most popular, crowded and attractive place. Chardin street is a great way to wander around the local art galleries and souvenir shops. The street was formed at the end of XIX century and it is named after a French explorer Jan Chardin, who visited Tbilisi in 1863. That time the street was called "Dark Row", because it was crowded with shops and workshops, even was called “the closed market”. Chardin street has been changed several times. Modern style building also appeared which separate Chardin and Bamba streets. Chardin street at the beginning is the small square and park. Here stands a bronze statue, so-called “Tamada” (toast-maker). It was discovered in the excavations of ancient Vani BC. Sec. VII century and it is the copy of this statue. Chardin Street is near Sioni Cathedral and old caravanserais. Then see the Bridge of Peace is a bow-shaped pedestrian bridge, a steel and glass construction illuminated with numerous LEDs, over the Kura River, linking the Rike Park with Old town in central Tbilisi. Since its opening in 2010 the structure has become an important pedestrian crossing in the city, as well as a significant tourist attraction and one of the most well-recognized landmarks of the capital. The last stop of the tour is the famous Rustaveli Avenue for shopping. Rustaveli Avenue, formerly known as Golovin Street, is the central avenue in Tbilisi named after the medieval Georgian poet, Shota Rustaveli. The avenue starts at Freedom Square and extends for about 1.5 km in length, before it turns into an extension of Kostava Street.

Today explore the beautiful city of Mtskheta in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti province of Georgia. Mtskheta was the ancient capital of the Eastern Georgian Kingdom from the Third Century BCE to Fifth Century CE. It was also the location where Christianity was proclaimed as the kingdom’s official religion and continues to function as the headquarters of the Georgian Orthodox Church. This is one of the oldest cities in Georgia and it’s the former capital, which is located approximately 20 km north of Tbilisi. During the tour, you can enjoy panoramic aerial views of mountains around Jvari Monastery, observe the confluence of Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers or have a time trip back to early centuries in the area of Svetitskhoveli cathedral and Samtavro church. After the tour your driver will drop you back to Tbilisi where you will visit the Tbilisi mall one of the biggest trading centers in Tbilisi where you will have the time for shopping.
