Tbilisi is the capital of the country of Georgia. Its cobblestoned old town reflects a long, complicated history, with periods under Persian and Russian rule. Its diverse architecture encompasses Eastern Orthodox churches, ornate art nouveau buildings and Soviet Modernist structures. Looming over it all are Narikala, a reconstructed 4th-century fortress, and Kartlis Deda, an iconic statue of the “Mother of Georgia.”

Today morning explore the beautiful city of Tbilisi. Your driver cum guide will pick you up and show you the magnificent highlights of the city. Visit the most historical sites of the Holy Trinity Cathedral Sameba - the crown of Georgian 20 century’s old orthodox Christianity church history, constructed between 1995 and 2004. Metekhi Church (13th century). Narikala Fortress (4th century), is built on a steep hill overlooking the river and predates even the founding of the city itself. Later I the afternoon your journey continues to to Mtatsminda Mountain where famous Bombora Theme park is located. Mtatsminda Park is a famous landscaped park located at the top of Mount Mtatsminda overlooking the Georgian capital Tbilisi. The park has carousels, water slides, a roller-coaster, dark ride, funicular, and a big Ferris Wheel at the edge of the mountain, offering a splendid view over the city.

The most beautiful mountain in Georgia the Gudauri-Kazbegi. In this tour you will visit the famous Ananuri fortress built in medieval centuries overlooking the Zhinvali water reservoir right through to the Gudari ski resort visiting the highest mountains of the resort. Gudauri is located on the southern slopes of the Great Caucasus Mountain Range, Gudauri is popular holiday destination for Georgians and foreigners alike. It is on 2000-2200m above sea level, already alpine zone disposing the beauty of the huge mountains. Then continue the tour to Stepantsminda formerly Kazbegi), is a small town in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region of north-eastern Georgia. Historically and ethnographically, the town is part of the Khevi province. It is the center of the Kazbegi Municipality. Stepantsminda was named after a Georgian Orthodox monk named Stephan, who constructed a hermitage at this location on what later became the Georgian Military Road. The town is located along the banks of the Terek River, 157 kilometers (98 mi) to the north of Tbilisi at an elevation of 1,740 meters (5,710 feet) above sea level. Stepantsminda’s climate is moderately humid with relatively dry, cold winters and long and cool summers. The average annual temperature is 4.9 degrees Celsius. January is the coldest month with an average temperature of -5.2 degrees Celsius while July is the warmest month with an average temperature of 14.4 degrees Celsius. The absolute minimum recorded temperature is -34 degrees Celsius and the absolute maximum is 32 degrees Celsius. Stepantsminda’s average annual precipitation is 790 mm. (31.1 inches). The town is dominated by large mountains on all sides. The most notable mountain of the region, Mount Kazbek, lies immediately to the west of town. The second most prominent peak, Mt. Shani, rises to an elevation of 4,451 meters (14,600 feet) above sea level, 9 kilometers to the east of Stepantsminda.

Batumi, a Black Sea resort and port city, is the capital of the Georgian republic of Adjara. Batumi Boulevard encompasses a waterfront promenade with a park and beach. The 130m-high Alphabetic Tower, adorned with Georgian script, has a seaside observation deck. The old town district is lined with renovated 19th-century buildings. North of the city, Batumi Botanical Garden showcases flora from around the world.

Today you will be exploring the city of Batumi on this half day city tour with a visit to the Botanical garden. The Batumi Botanical Garden is a 108 hectare area of land 9 km north of the city of Batumi, capital of Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Georgia. Located at the place called Mtsvane Kontskhi on the Black Sea shore, it is one of the largest botanical gardens in the former Soviet Union. You will also get a glimpse of the few iconic places in Batumi like the Alphabetic Tower, which expresses the uniqueness of the Georgian alphabet and people. The 130-meter-tall (426.5 feet) building combines the design of a DNA strand holding 33 letters of the Georgian alphabet, with each aluminum letter being four meters (13.1 feet) tall. The elevator shaft leads to the very top of the structure, which provides panoramic views. Then famous Statue of Ali and Nino, this statue of eternal love is an iconic landmark in Batumi. Made by Georgian artist Tamara Kvesitadze, the figures move towards each other, merge into one piece and then move away from each other every 10 minutes. The idea to create this magnificent statue came from the book of the same name by Kurban Said. The book is about a romantic relationship between Azerbaijani Muslim Ali and a Georgian Christian daughter of a nobleman in Baku in 1918. The Chacha Tower, is in the vicinity of Alphabetic Tower and Ali and Nino, it’s an impressive landmark called the Chacha Tower, originally built to have a chacha fountain, the Georgian national spirit, instead of a water one. The Piazza Square which features boutique hotels, cafés, and unique architecture, is a go-to destination for many locals to grab a drink or something to eat. Designed by Georgian architect Vazha Orbeladze, the Piazza perfectly mixes different styles and trends. You can also do your souvenirs shopping.
